We’ve got some big news! EditShare 25.2 has officially landed, and it’s packed with smarter tools, stronger security, and powerful workflow enhancements.

Here’s what’s new in 25.2:
FLOW Enhancements: Smarter Control and Automation
- Organize - Delete
- Organize - Trigger FLOW Automations by Media Space and Folder
- FLOW Automation - ‘Send to Site’ task
- FLOW Automation - Reintroducing ‘Baton QC’ filter
Organize – Delete Assets:
Remove unwanted media directly from the Organize module with selective deletion options for originals, proxies, or metadata only.
This update significantly expands workflow capabilities, empowering users to go beyond basic media management and streamline their processes even further.
Trigger Automations by Folder:
Apply automation workflows at the Media Space or subfolder level for faster bulk actions. Previously, this functionality was limited to individual or multiple selected assets.
Remote Workflows – Send to Site:
Transfer media and metadata to another site automatically, streamlining multi-location operations. Instead of manually managing and moving each piece, automate and simplify the process, ensuring everything stays in sync across locations.
Baton QC Filter:
Reintroducing automated QC with BATON™, delivering clear pass/fail reports for video and audio files (MXF, QuickTime, MP4, MP3, WAV).
Set up is simple. Just connect a BATON QC server to your FLOW server and ensure you have a BATON connector license. Once configured, QC reports are saved right alongside your original files in the Media Space.
Note: QC markers are not supported with the Baton QC Filter.
EditShare OS: Security and Connectivity Upgrades
Multisite ZeroTier VPN: Connect multiple EFS clusters with seamless site-to-site VPN capabilities for distributed workflows.
EFS Client & Control
- Localization: Spanish language support added to EFS Control, with updates to Chinese and Japanese translations.
- New EFS FUSE Version: Latest compatibility and performance enhancements for Mac OS users.
ARK: Scalable and Reliable
Tape Scaling with Notifications: Improved synchronization for large-scale archive operations, keeping FLOW up to date.
