The Media Composer 2024.12.7 Long Term Maintenance (LTM) update was released on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

This update introduces a number of key fixes and performance enhancements.

If you are currently using a 2024.12 version of Media Composer, please be encouraged  to update to this latest version.

Important Note: This will be the final release for the Media Composer 2024.12.x LTM stream. The End of Support for this LTM stream is set for February 29, 2028.

As a reminder, LTM releases are maintained from the original General Availability (GA) date until End of Development, which typically spans 18 to 24 months after the initial release. These updates include only bug fixes, with no new features. Support for LTM releases will continue for 36 months after their initial release, ending on the last day of the 36th month.
