MRMC at IBC 2025

MRMC Broadcast is returning to IBC 2025 to showcase an expanded lineup of cutting-edge broadcast robotics and camera solutions. From precision robotic arms to next-generation free-roaming platforms, MRMC’s technology continues to shape the future of studio and live production environments.

What’s New

  • Cinebot Nano and more compact systems
MRMC has been developing lighter, more travel-friendly motion control robots. The Cinebot Nano is a key example — a compact version capable of cinematic moves in smaller spaces. (Mentioned in earlier drafts and vendor discussion.)

  • Robotic pedestals & combination systems
They are promoting hybrid devices where robotic arms and traditional camera pedestals work in tandem, enabling freer movement in studio environments — e.g. more expressive motion without losing pedestal stability.

  • Better collision avoidance, smarter pathing
Improved algorithms and sensors help prevent accidents in tight spaces, especially when robotic arms and operators share zones — a frequent concern in virtual production and multi-camera setups.

Why You Should Care

  • More cinematic moves in tighter spaces
Whether you’re in a smaller studio or working modular sets, the ability to add expressive robotic moves without huge chassis is powerful.

  • Reduced operator constraints
Safer pathing, collision awareness, and smarter motion profiles reduce risk and setup time — less worry about gear hits or mis-steered paths.

  • Scalable systems
If you start with smaller arms or mounts, MRMC’s ecosystem allows you to upgrade control, expand reach, or integrate more axes over time.
