We’ve transformed the Organize module to put complete control in your hands, allowing you to tailor the interface to your specific tasks.

• Customizable Column Controls: You can now choose which columns to show, hide, or reorder via a simple cog menu.
• Dynamic Sizing: Simply drag the header bar to adjust column widths; these settings are now stored per user so your view remains consistent every time you log in.
• Customizable Layouts: Build a workspace that mirrors your unique process by dragging and dropping panels into designated hotspots.

Disaster Recovery: Total Workflow Protection

Our new Disaster Recovery feature is a high-availability solution designed to safeguard your production against the unexpected.

• Live Replication: Unlike static backups, this feature maintains a nightly synchronized replica of your primary FLOW and EFS environment, including Media Spaces, metadata, proxies, and databases.
• Fast Switch Over: In the event of an outage or natural disaster, your team can transition to a mirrored site within minutes, ensuring tight delivery timelines stay intact.

Kumulate: Seamless 3rd Party Archiving

We are expanding support for best-of-breed third-party archives with Kumulate (by Telestream) integration.

• Unified Lifecycle Management: Trigger archive and restore operations directly within the FLOW interface, eliminating the need to toggle between applications.
• Searchable Deep Storage: Move assets to cost-effective deep storage when inactive while keeping them fully searchable via FLOW’s proxy and metadata architecture.

EFS & Connectivity: High-Performance Infrastructure

This release introduces a massive leap forward in how you manage and interact with your physical storage.

• Visual Storage Management: A new "Storage" tab in EFS Control provides a visual interface for tracking total and used raw storage, as well as usable capacity across Storage Goals and Nodes.
• Hybrid Storage Node Support: 2026.1.0 officially supports EFS Hybrid nodes, combining 4 NVMe drives (RAID 5) for high-speed finishing with 8 HDDs (RAID 6) for cost-efficient capacity in a single 2RU server.
• Modernized EditShare Connect (ESC):

o             Universal Binary: ESC for macOS now runs natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon, removing Rosetta 2 dependencies.

o             Updated Tech Stack: Rebuilt with Python 3 and Qt for increased security and stability.

o             Phased Transition: Both "New" and "Legacy" versions are currently available to ensure a smooth transition.

• Under-the-Hood Speed: An upgrade to LibFUSE version 3 offers increased throughput for Linux drivers and SMB mounts in high-performance use cases.

ARK: Searchable Backups & Scalability

Managing your long-term storage is now more granular and efficient with new recovery tools.

• Individual File Restore: You can now search for and restore individual files from Ark Tape or Ark Disk directly through the Ark UI.
• Enhanced UI Tools: This update improves paging for large tape jobs, fixes transfer speed bar graphs, and adds a CSV download option for session file listings.
