Windows 11 Support
Microsoft will end mainstream support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. After this date, your Windows 10 PC will still work, but it will no longer receive security updates, new features, or technical support from Microsoft.

If your PC meets the minimum requirements to upgrade from Windows 10 to 11, you should see an option in Windows Update to upgrade to Windows 11 for free7. If your PC is not able to upgrade to Windows 11 or if you want to replace it, you can move to Windows 11 by purchasing a new PC.
However it also worth checking compatibility with the software you use.

For Adobe Premier users

DaVinci Resolve users
DaVinci Resolve, the Blackmagic Design video editing software, is fully supported on Windows 11, with users reporting no issues and the software being compatible with the latest version of Windows. However always keep checking the Resolve support pages for the latest info

For all users, before upgrading confirm you have a reliable backup of projects and media, and can restore to your current version in case you run into issues. If possible, upgrade in a test environment to ensure your third-party plug-ins, workflows, and configuration continue to work as expected.
