Is the final release that will support some Intel Macs, according to Apple.
Right now, running your video or audio production system on a beta version should be avoided. Leave that to the official beta testers.
When Tahoe is released – should you upgrade?
Well, NO! Not straight away.
Our advice will always be to wait for official support. So that’s depends on whether you’re using Avid, Blackmagic, Adobe and other software. You need to make sure that all the software you will use can support a new macOS.
It’s still too early to say, but one or two manufacturers are starting to comment about support.
The official advice from Adobe sums this up nicely…
Before you upgrade, ensure you have a reliable backup and can restore to your current version if you run into issues. If possible, upgrade your app in a test environment to ensure your third-party plug-ins, workflows, and configurations continue to work as expected.
We will update this blog with more details when we have them
Avid traditionally run extensive testing and qualification. Remember they have multiple software and hardware products that need to work seamlessly across News production, Video and audio production and Live Audio – So they have a lot of work to do.
Blackmagic Resolve. Blackmagic have a history of completing support quite quickly.
Adobe support is also expected quite quickly – see more below

If you have OffShoot, Canister, or Mimiq installed, you will need to update your software before using them on Tahoe. MORE DETAILS https://hedge.co/blog/macos-26-tahoe
