Flame 2025.2 Update

Flame is focused on helping you leverage project scalability and collaboration, deliver pixel-perfect content faster, and increase the number of creative iterations. 

Highlights include: 

Morph Tool
Use the Morph tool to morph together frames from two clips. This tool is useful to ease a transition or to apply a morphing effect.
Transitions from Avid and DaVinci Resolve are conformed to a Morph transition in Flame.

Timewarp
On Rocky Linux, an inference can be run using either the CPU or GPU. The only option available on macOS is still CPU. Running the inference is faster on the GPU, but larger frames that cannot be rendered using it can now be rendered using the CPU.Use the CPU / GPU drop-down button to select the mode of your choice. The ML Engine Cache button is only available when GPU is selected.

AVIO Updates
Flame Family 2025.2 Update supports the AJA SDK 17.1 on Rocky Linux and macOS. The AJA KONA X desktop SDI 12G & & HDMI 2.0 Preview card is supported on macOS and Rocky Linux (8.x and 9.3). KONA X is AJA’s next-generation desktop I/O card with the following capabilities:

Flame Family 2025.2 Update supports the Blackmagic Design Desktop Video version 14.2 on Rocky Linux and macOS.
