AJA has released the T-TAP Pro, a Thunderbolt™ 3 HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI output mobile device alongside Desktop Software v16.0 which includes updates for AJA Control Room software, Control Panel and plug ins for our KONA, Io and T-TAP devices.
The T-TAP Pro is the next generation of the proven T-TAP, featuring the latest 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 connectivity for working with 4K or UltraHD over a single cable, allowing you to easily output deep color, high frame rate, and HDR imagery to a wide range of pro and consumer monitors and devices, all at the highest 10- and 12-bit uncompressed quality.
Simply plug in to your computer’s Thunderbolt 3 enabled Mac or PC, install the new software, and go!
Desktop Software v16.0
AJA has released Desktop Software v16 update, a feature-rich update that introduces HDR signaling over SDI, auto HDR capture and playback options in AJA Control Panel, enhanced 8K workflows for KONA 5 with Apple Final Cut Pro and Avid Media Composer, expanded IP video support and more.
Desktop Software v16 includes compatibility updates for the latest macOS®, Windows® and Linux® operating systems, and enhances and expands support for high-end computer hardware. v16 also increases compatibility with NMOS compliant devices and adds improved troubleshooting capabilities with new LLDP support for KONA IP, Io IP and Avid Artist™ | DNxIP™. With Desktop Software v16, HDR over SDI is also now available on select AJA KONA, Io products, and the new T-TAP Pro device.
