Headlining will no doubt be the EFS NVME range . A next-generation EFS storage node, powered by the latest HPE Gen11 server and an advanced NVMe node, set a new standard in performance and efficiency. With over 18GB/s aggregate throughput, this system delivers unmatched performance with unrivalled scalability.
IBC 2024 sees FLOW adding native support for codecs which are critical for high quality production. These include Avid DNxHR and Sony X-OCN at resolutions up to 8k. FLOW 24.2 enhances the Organize module. This ensures users can create projects, and bins efficiently. By logging in from any secure web browser, users can streamline workflows and collaborate most effectively.
EditShare MediaSilo also sees enhancements, including support for Ultra HD proxies.
EditShare, a leader in collaborative media workflow solutions, is set to redefine media storage at IBC 2024 with the launch of the Ultimate EFS Series.
The Ultimate Series will be available in 2U, 3U, and 4U form factors, alongside a portable field unit for enhanced remote flexibility. The EFS 210, EFS 310, and EFS 410 nodes cater to a wide range of users, from boutique post-production houses to national broadcasters.

Sony
SONY will be exhibiting on Stand 13.a10 and 13.D201, where you can discover Sony's latest developments across live production, news production, broadcasting, cinematography and filmmaking.
IBC 2024 marks the market introduction of the M2L-X: this software-based switcher provides agnostic flexibility and capability in a production workflow thanks to its Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) approach. Using the Catalyst Prepare Plugin with Ci Media Cloud platform, editing will now be possible while referencing review comments made by clients. The Catalyst Prepare Plugin currently supports Adobe Premiere Pro, and will also support Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve in the fall of 2024 onward.
Creators’ Cloud for enterprise announcements
To enhance post-production workflows, Sony's Ci Media Cloud platform will premiere a native integration with Blackmagic Design’s DaVinci Resolve at IBC. Available in fall of 2024, the integration allows users to search for footage stored in Ci, preview it, download proxies, check comments, upload new cuts, all directly from their non-linear video editing software (NLE).
Vizrt
Vizrt will be exhbiting on Stand 10.A41 this year at IBC. They have a lineup of exciting showcases that will transform the way you create and share content. EIZO Europe will now be in Hall 7 on Stand 7.B23 this year at IBC.
EIZO will showcase its latest innovations within the EIZO ColorEdge range. Including the NEW ColorEdge PROMINENCE CG1 - their flagship HDR reference monitor following its European debut at MPTS in May.
The ColorEdge PROMINENCE CG1 – a 30.5-inch, DCI-4K (4096 x 2160) HDR (high dynamic range) reference monitor for the professional post production and color grading workflow. It is the successor of the ColorEdge PROMINENCE CG3146.
