Avid NEXIS Compatibility Notice November 20, 2024

An Avid NEXIS server and client compatibility issue has been identified.

This issue can cause media consistency errors when using Avid NEXIS 2023.8 or a newer client with Avid NEXIS 23.8 or an older server.

The issue rarely occurs but if it does, it is most likely to impact media files that are frequently modified and may cause portions of media to be unreadable.

We strongly recommend that customers upgrade the Avid NEXIS core to the minimum recommended version of Avid NEXIS 2023.12 immediately.

It will only take approximately 10 minutes to upgrade the Avid NEXIS core and reboot. The core upgrade will not affect compatibility with other Avid products.
