What is an Avid Team Subscription?
Team Subscriptions enable small to medium sized businesses to purchase multiple seats under one license. Which then can be assigned and unassigned to members of their team.
What are the benefits a Team Subscription?
Using the Admin Console assign & unassign feature , you can now easily reallocate licenses from team members not using a seat, or are no longer on your team to those that need one.
As an Administrator, what can I do within the Admin Console for Team Subscriptions?
- Flexible license management
- Manage, add, and deploy licenses from a web-based admin console
- Identify Team administrators vs normal team members (Admins have the same level of access in the initial release)
- Assign and unassign users to product licenses (Users receive email notification when assigned)

How do I assign a seat?
To assign a seat to a member of your team, go to the Overview Page and click “assign user”. From there simply input the email address of the user you would like to assign.
How do I unassign a license?
From the Products page, click on the user you would like to unassign, then click the “unassign user” button to unassign the seat.
How do I access a Team license seat that has been assigned to me?
When a license is assigned to you, you will receive an email from “Noreply@avid.com”, example below:
You must accept the license by clicking “Get Started” in order to access it. After clicking “Get Started”, you will be prompted to log into or create a MyAvid account.
The email address associated with the account MUST match the email address that the license was assigned to (the address where the email above was delivered).
If I add seats to a product in my team, will the purchase be prorated to the original term?
Yes, if you add seats to your team after it was created the additional seats will be prorated to the original term.
I already manage multiple licenses in my Avid account, can I transition my existing licenses to team subscriptions so I can use the Admin Console?
The initial launch No, current licenses cannot be converted to a team plan
Can I group licenses by project or location?
You cannot group by project or location at this time.
Do my team members have to be online to access Avid team subscriptions?
Yes, Avid team subscriptions are cloud-based licenses. This allows the admin full control of the license so it can be unassigned and reassigned as needed.
