SymplyPRO Thunderbolt Desktop features a single LTO-9 Half-Height Tape Drive with both Thunderbolt 3 & 12Gb SAS (SFF-8644) Host Interfaces in a sleek space grey rugged metal alloy enclosure. Dual Thunderbolt 3 ports support both device charging & daisy chaining, and a 12Gb SAS (SFF-8644) Expansion Port allows for the connection of additional SAS drives that are bridged to Thunderbolt by the SymplyPRO. LTO-9 boasts a native capacity of 18TB (45TB compressed) and native performance of 300MB/Sec (750MB/Sec compressed), supports 256-bit encryption along with WORM media. Compatible with LTFS (Linear Tape File System) making backup and archive operations easier to an open source and interchangeable tape format. Symply tape products feature massive interoperability and are compatible with industry leading software providers. Premium cooling fans and power supply (Internal Auto-Switching, 110-240v).
