Avid Media Composer support

Avid qualify for Media Composer the Z4, with a range of processors including 10th Gen Intel Core X-series & Xeon W-series CPU.

Speed and performance are essential to maintaining a professional video editing workflow. Higher CPU speeds are generally preferred over CPU core count for the core MC application. Solutions range from 10-core 4.5Ghz processors through to 18-core 4.6Ghz for the best performance.

Most systems start with a minimum of 64GB or RAM. For higher resolution and bit depth consider increasing that. Adobe Applications if you’re running those too, like lots of RAM.

GPU, responsible for producing the graphics, textures, and images you see on your screen. While the CPU and RAM do most of the heavy lifting, some tasks are offloaded onto the GPU.
